Sprinkler System Diagram Why Would A Sprinkler Zone Always Run Even When The Control Box Is In The Rest Position?

Why would a sprinkler zone always run even when the control box is in the rest position? - sprinkler system diagram

I have an old Rainbird irrigation system. All sectors seem to work fine except in my garden that is always running to. I put the water in and out of service because the configuration of the control box does not work! It works well, everywhere! I need to see a diagram or something. HELP PLEASE!

make this series of tests and you know exactly what is wrong.
1. Check the counter ... You can see if the timer with a low energy content, sends the entire time domain. (very rare).
Check the connection shared with a voltmeter) (or soleniod new valve. supply line and another son in the region. and if you have click the power of the instrument, the timer is bad. Check a simpler way that is separate to the meter and remove the battery when necessary too. and if it still works. You have a bad valve or solenoid release.

find the valve to the area ... If you do not know where he is, then you may need a cable locator to find them. (they are small green boxes in your garden, sometimes in different sizes, but the fields.)

If you can see the valve, whether soleniod all the way down dressed. It needs to be adjusted.

If this does not close the valve and the valve is open .- guard against receiving anything about it. (Stones, dirt, etc..)

Sometimes a small stone or other debris caught in aValve and open it holds, a little like trying to walk in the door with it closed. is still not closed.

It seems that there must be exchanged to disclose anything more, the diaphragm is worn.

If you can not find the right valve to replace the parts, remove the PVC valve and replumb

Make sure if you're in the new, post-flow valve back on track and is the same thing and run again, and you have to cut and placed on the right track

Also check your departure time on the timer. need one or not deterred.

to say about her Rainbird timer of age .. electromechanical looks as if the number of clocks (RC Series BI) that my friend has the best kind of timer that is. I have a few months ago its customers a home was not yet replaced 27 and have never seen.

Hope this helps

I agree with the previous one. Less likely that the controller, most likely the valve. Test line at different magnetic coils to see if the perpetrators seek life at any time, and then on the driver. Good bet not open, but a bite valve.

one of the valves in the front yard has a membrane that is blocked and is not close. You must specify, and then replace the valve. I really consider a company valve replacement irrigation repair setting.

I would say that this area, the solenoid valve is locked or unlocked position. The valves open and close the control that the area is underway.

Solenoid control of soil or sand to prevent it was not closed, clean the valve. Check the diaphragm (rubber membrane), which are cut or they will be stiff. Replacement. The plunger can be broken, replace the solenoid valve. It's usually come in a power outage, when the guilt of the driver. I think one of the top 3 options is the reason.
